MEMORIES TO KEEP…SOMETHING TO PASS DOWN

This handmade baby all over sweater is about forty years old. I knitted it so many years ago, and it is still in good shape. It brings back memories of my girls, the warmth it provided for them, and the joy, love, and blessings God has given me in them.

If you’re looking for a memento to pass down, consider taking a photo of your loved one and writing down their favorite saying on a piece of paper. You can then frame it in an old picture frame and present it as a gift. If you want to keep things simple, just write the quote on the back of an old picture of them (or take the photo from that very moment) and place it in a special spot in your home with some flowers or other items for decoration.

If your parent or grandparent had an item that meant something to them but that no longer does—like their wedding ring—consider giving it back to them so they can hold onto this memory in another way!

Your memories are important. They’re something to pass down to your family and friends, so they can remember you and the good times that you had together. You don’t have to do anything fancy to preserve them; just snap a few photos using your phone or camera, then upload them into an online album whenever there’s time.
